South Indian Dosa in Chantilly, VA
Dosa is the South Indian rice-and-lentil crepe that gets griddled paper-thin on a hot iron, lacquered with ghee, and folded around a turmeric-stained potato curry. Pastry Corner makes ours from scratch — the batter ferments for 24 hours so it carries the sour-savory complexity that quick-mix never matches. Order it plain, as a classic Masala Dosa, Onion Dosa, Mysore Dosa with red chutney, Rava Dosa (semolina), Ghee Roast, or Paneer Dosa. Every dosa comes with sambar (lentil-vegetable broth) and three chutneys: coconut, tomato, and mint. Naturally vegetarian, naturally gluten-free, naturally vegan if you skip the ghee. Best eaten hot — call ahead for pickup so it lands on your table at peak crispness instead of softening in transit.
