By accessing https://pastrycornercafe.com, creating an account, or placing an order, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or create an account. Minors may use the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.
3. Accounts
You may order as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under it. Please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Online ordering
Placing an order through https://pastrycornercafe.com is an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted only when we confirm it (typically on the order-confirmation screen and by email). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, if an item is unavailable, pricing is incorrect, suspected fraud, or operational constraints (kitchen closing, weather, equipment failure).
Menu availability, prices, and prep times shown on the site are accurate to the best of our knowledge but may change without notice.
5. Pricing, taxes & tips
All prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Applicable VA sales tax is added at checkout. Delivery orders include a flat delivery fee disclosed before payment. Tips, when offered, are voluntary and go directly to our staff or the delivery driver as indicated.
6. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By placing an order, you authorise us to charge the payment method you provide for the order total (including tax, delivery fee, and tip). We don't store full card numbers on our servers.
7. Pickup & delivery
Pickup: orders are prepared for the time slot you select. Please collect within 30 minutes of the stated pickup time. Food held longer may degrade in quality.
Delivery: delivery is dispatched through DoorDash Drive, DoorDash's white-label courier fleet. The DoorDash driver acts as an independent courier. While we work to ensure accurate, prompt delivery, we're not liable for late deliveries caused by traffic, weather, courier availability, or an incorrect address you supplied. Delivery is currently available only within designated zones around Chantilly, VA.
We're not responsible for food quality after the courier picks it up. If your delivery arrives damaged or significantly late, contact us immediately and we'll make it right.
8. Cancellations & refunds
Because most items are prepared to order, cancellations are accepted only before kitchen acceptance — usually within a few minutes of placing the order. After kitchen acceptance, orders generally can't be cancelled or refunded.
If something went wrong — missing item, incorrect preparation, food-safety concern — contact us within 24 hours with your order number. We refund or replace as appropriate at our reasonable discretion. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
9. Custom cakes & catering
Custom-cake and catering enquiries submitted through our site are requests for a quote, not confirmed orders. We follow up to confirm details, pricing, and a deposit before production begins. Specific terms (deposit %, cancellation window, design approval, allergens) are confirmed in the quote you receive.
Custom-cake orders typically require at least 72 hours' notice. Catering orders typically require at least 48 hours' notice. Shorter notice may be possible — ask.
10. Allergens & dietary information
IMPORTANT: please read.
Our kitchen and bakery handle ingredients including but not limited to wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame, and shellfish. Cross-contact can occur even with items not listed as containing those ingredients. We cannot guarantee any item is completely free from any allergen.
If you have a severe food allergy or intolerance, please call us at (703) 263-1466 before ordering. You are responsible for assessing your own risk, and you order at your own risk. Dietary tags shown on the menu (e.g., “vegetarian,” “eggless”) are based on recipe intent and not certifications.
11. Promotions, coupons & loyalty
Any promotions or coupon codes are valid only for the period and items stated. Codes are non-transferable, hold no cash value, can't be combined with other offers (unless expressly stated), and may be cancelled or modified at our discretion.
12. Intellectual property
All content on https://pastrycornercafe.com — including the Pastry Corner Cafe & Lounge name and logo, photos, menu descriptions, design, and code — is owned by Pastry Corner Cafe & Lounge or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, or republish any of it without our written permission. You may share permalinks to public pages.
13. User conduct
When using the site you agree not to: place fraudulent orders; attempt to gain unauthorised access; probe, scan, or stress-test the infrastructure; scrape menu data for competitive purposes; submit content that is illegal, infringing, or deceptive; or use any of our services to harass our staff or other users.
14. Third-party services
The site relies on third-party services including Stripe (payments), DoorDash Drive (delivery), Clover (POS), and Google (maps, reviews). Their respective terms and privacy policies also apply when you interact with those services through our site.
15. Disclaimers
The site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pastry Corner Cafe & Lounge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pastry Corner Cafe & Lounge and its officers, employees, agents, and partners (including JSVV SOLS LLC, our technology provider) won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the site or services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pastry Corner Cafe & Lounge and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
