Tandoor-Fresh Naan in Chantilly, VA
Naan is North India's leavened flatbread, slapped onto the inside wall of a 700°F clay tandoor and pulled off charred, blistered, and pillowy 60 seconds later. At Pastry Corner we fire ours to order — no warming drawer, no microwave revival. Choose Plain, Butter, Garlic, Garlic Cilantro, Kashmiri Naan stuffed with nuts and dried fruit, Paneer Kulcha stuffed with spiced cheese, Aloo Naan stuffed with curried potato, or Cheese Naan if you want to talk about it for a week. Order one per person for dinner, two if you're sharing curries. Naan reheats best in a dry skillet — 30 seconds per side gets the chew back. Vegetarian. Wheat-based, so not gluten-free. Pair with butter chicken, paneer, kebabs, or any of our curries.

Traditional naan contains yogurt and ghee — not vegan. Roti or chapati made from whole wheat is the vegan alternative.
