Thanksgiving in an Indian-American household in Chantilly is rarely a turkey-only table. The bird shows up — it has to, because the kids expect it and the in-laws fly in for it — but right next to the cranberry sauce there is almost always a tray of chicken dum biryani, a pan of butter chicken, a stack of garlic naan, and a platter of samosas the cousins demolish before the turkey is even carved. Pastry Corner caters that table. Srikanth and the team built our Thanksgiving program around one idea: complement the turkey, don't replace it. We supply the Indian half of the spread — biryani trays in chicken, goat, and vegetable, butter chicken trays, paneer tikka masala, appetizer platters with samosas and paneer tikka, and naan baskets fresh from the tandoor — sized so it sits comfortably alongside whatever else is coming out of your oven. Two weeks ahead is the comfortable window. The week of Thanksgiving itself fills fast — by the Friday before, most slots for Thanksgiving morning and Wednesday-evening drop-off are spoken for. Smaller orders under fifteen people can sometimes be accommodated with a few days notice, but lock the big trays early.
Halal-friendly chicken and goat are available on request. Mention it at the time of order and we pull from the right supplier, then confirm at packaging. Most Indian-American Thanksgiving tables in Fairfax County include halal-friendly meat for at least one side of the family, and we plan for it.
Yes — we run Thanksgiving morning delivery slots from 9 AM through 1 PM across Chantilly, Centreville, Fairfax, Herndon, Reston, South Riding, and Ashburn. We can also do Wednesday-evening drop-off if you want the trays in the fridge the night before. Slots are sequenced, so book early to pick your window.
The Indian half does not compete with the turkey — it rounds it out. Biryani serves as a rice-and-meat anchor next to the bird, butter chicken and paneer give the kids and the in-laws their comfort dishes, samosas handle cocktail hour, and naan replaces or supplements the dinner rolls. The cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and turkey stay center-table.
Yes — every protein tray has a vegetarian counterpart. Vegetable biryani, paneer butter masala, vegetable samosas, paneer tikka, dal makhani, and naan are all available as standalone trays. Most Thanksgiving orders we ship are mixed: one biryani, one vegetarian curry, one appetizer platter, one naan basket.
